We are ideally situated for exploring the area, as we are conveniently situated between Dartmoor and the Coast. Both are areas of outstanding natural beauty, and will keep you spell bound 365 days of the year, whatever the season, and whatever the weather.
Set within this glorious landscape are some historic and beautiful towns and villages:
We are very close to the historic stannary town of Ashburton, which has an array of fascinating antique shops, and some charming places to eat and drink. Also from Ashburton their is direct access to Dartmoor. Just to the south of Longacre we have the beautiful mediaeval town of Totnes, with its steep High Street, Norman Castle and abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. Going further south we have the coastal towns of Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Salcombe, all with there own unique charms and attractions. If there is something of specific interest please ask, we may be able to point you in the right direction.
