Sadly Sheila is no longer with us, but the bees flourish and thrive, I like to think in her memory.
We are very lucky in the fact that all the agriculture in the area is organic, and this creates a really healthy environment for the bees to live, with no nasty insecticides being used anywhere near.
Although I may be slightly biased I would have to say that my honey is probably the best in the world.
2015 has seen the bees come out from their winter rest and as I speak are really enjoying the spring sunshine and are already collecting nectar to hopefully provide me with an early crop of delicious honey in a few weeks.
